Is wrapping a vehicle cheaper than painting it?

Yes. Wrapping a vehicle typically works out to be cheaper than a high-quality paint job. A vehicle wrap also protects your car’s original paint from chips and scratches which, in turn, protects the resale value of your car.

How long do vehicle wraps last?

High-quality vehicle wraps installed by professionals usually last between five and seven years, provided they are given the after-installation care they need.

Can you wash a wrapped car?
Yes. We typically recommend handwashing a wrapped car in the shade, especially when it’s hot. You can also pressure wash it carefully from a safe distance or use a touchless car wash service that does not use brushes.
What's the difference between a vehicle wrap and vehicle graphics?

A vehicle wrap covers a part or all your vehicle with a vinyl film. It may be a solid colour, used instead of a paint job, or include graphics on it. Vehicle graphics include logos, lettering, decals, or custom designs. They can cover your entire vehicle or be applied to specific areas.

Do vehicle wraps affect my insurance?
It’s a good idea to inform your insurance provider when you have your vehicle wrapped as it is a vehicle modification. While it should not affect your premium, your wrap may be eligible for coverage in case of a claim. You should also let Service Ontario know if you change the colour of your vehicle.
Is it hard to remove a car wrap or graphic decal?
Vinyl car wraps can be removed without damaging the underlying paint on the vehicle. It is a job best done with care, the right tools, and by professionals.

Is it worth getting paint protection film?

PPF is always worth getting! If you drive high-end vehicle or plan on using your car for a long time, PPF protects its resale value. It also helps protect your car if you drive on the highway a lot.
If budget is a concern, getting PPF on the front of your car (which is most prone to stone chips, road debris, bug splatter, and light scratches) is an option.

Is ceramic coating better than PPF?
Ceramic coating and PPF serve different purposes and choosing between them depends on your priorities. PPF provides a physical barrier against chips and scratches while ceramic coating repels water and dirt, adds a gloss, and makes for easier cleaning. In Ontario, driving conditions expose your car to highway salt, grit, gravel and slush which can all affect your car’s paint which makes PPF a better choice in the long term.
How long does Paint Protection Film last?
Premium Paint Protection Films like those from 3M can last up to 10 years when professionally installed and properly maintained.

How do I choose the right window tint percentage for my vehicle?

Window tint percentages (VLT) refer to how much light is allowed to pass through. Ontario has strict laws on the percentages allowed for the windshield and front windows. The right tint for your vehicle depends on your goals depending on if you want to reduce heat, increase privacy, or protect the interiors. Our team will be happy to help you pick the best option for your needs and budget.

Can I roll my windows down three days after getting them tinted?
Window tints need a few days to cure. Depending on the type of tint you have installed, we’ll let you know how to care for your tint. Having said that, your tint shouldn’t be majorly affected if you roll accidently your windows down 12 hours after installation.
What percentage tint looks best?

It depends on your vehicle and the look you’re going for. 30% tint is a popular choice offering plenty of UV and heat protection while maintaining visibility. If you want your windows to have a clear look, then 70% tints are a good option. Check out our tint selector tool that can help you decide.

Does tint get lighter with age?
No, high-quality tints like those from 3M are designed to maintain their look and quality for years. Window tints only tend to look lighter as they cure until they reach the optimum look.
What type of tint lasts the longest?

Can Window Tint Be Removed or Replaced?

What Is the Legal Window Tint in Ontario?
